The winner of the Méliès d'argent at Ramaskrik 2024 was the French film Réel by Rodrigue Huart.

The jury, which consisted of film director Rob Savage, film producer Bente Maalen and journalist Sindre Kartvedt, says the following about the winner:

"A crucial component of the short film concept is in the name - short.
Our winning entry consist of a single, simple idea, goes all the way with it, stays within the limits of its concept, and manages to make a wry comment on one of the defining issues of our time."
